In Zee TV's 'Pavitra Rishta', after the leap, the biggest surprise was the trendy new look of leading lady Archana (Ankita Lokhande) which had taken a 360 turn and had given a new identity to her character. According to the track, she was appointed as the senior supervisor in a company, so her look was adjusted appropriately. But recent developments in the track have lead the creative team to change her look back to the previous one.
A source from the set informed TellyCafe.com, "Actually, with the on going track, Archana's trendy look was not suiting her character because Archana is fighting to get Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) out of jail by going against her company's policy. So to give her an authentic look, she had been asked to change her present hair style look and go back with the previous one."
An insider also told us, "Ankita was increasing her make-up and getting fancier hair styles day by day which, beyond a certain point, don't suit the simplicity of her character. Therefore, she will be seen with the previous look with a simple hair-do and light make up."
We tried to reach Ankita Lokhande but she remained unavailable for comment.
Well, hope the authenticity of the show earns points with the viewers who felt that the show has really been slipping lately!
