July 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Konkona Sen Sharma, who is known as one of the favorite actresses of Vishal Bharadwaj, is going to do a cameo role in the director's latest venture Saath Khoon Maaf starring Priyanka Chopra. Sen has played an important role in Bharadwaj's earlier film Omkara.
According to a source, "Konkona has a guest appearance in the movie. But her role is very important in the film as she develops the link between the character of Priyanka and her two consecutive husbands. Sen has shot for two days in Pondicherry but she does not share any screen space with Priyanka".
Konkona will have immense scope for improvisation through this guest appearance. According to a source, the director elaborated the role to the actress over phone. Konkona liked it and flew down to Pondicherry immediately for giving the shot.
A source further added, "Konkona was the main guest in a small get-together arranged by the cast and crew after the shot. Since Priyanka had flown back to Mumbai by that time, she missed the get-together".
We can expect to watch another marvelous performance of Konkona even if she does a cameo in the movie!
