May 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):With Indian Idol on air already, we wondered what Mini Mathur, who hosted the first three seasons of the show, was up to and the news is that Mini is all set to host a quiz show on sports.
In a confirmation to TellyCafe, Mini said, "Yes I'm all geared up to host this show which is sports based and will be aired on Doordarshan, owing to the Commonwealth Games 2010 which will soon be taking place in Delhi." When asked about her interest in sports she replied, "I'm interested in hosting the show well and bringing it to the audiences in the best way possible. It can be related to sports or any other genre."
The show which is called 'Sports ka Superstar' is being produced by Synergy, the production house headed by Siddharth Basu.
Mini was last spotted hosting 'Iss Jungle se Mujhe Bachao' and has come back to her usual role with this latest sporty venture.
