Reese Witherspoon's ex-husband Ryan Phillippe is delighted to know that the actress is engaged.
Witherspoon announced her engagement with Hollywood agent Jim Toth earlier this week.
"I'm very happy for both Reese and Jim," people.com quoted Phillippe as saying.
The actor was married to Witherspoon for seven years before they split in 2008. They have two children together, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7.
He added: "I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children."
